Hi I'm Doreen the proud owner of Scissors Plus Hair Designers. I received my training in New York in 1978. I worked at the Band Box Hair Salon for 2 years. I started as a shampoo girl and worked my way up to manager. In 1981 I moved to Spring Hill, Florida where I worked as a hairdresser for 1½ years and managed the salon for 2 more years.

    In 1986 I opened up my 1st salon. Since then I have opened 4 other salons. I presently own Scissors Plus and I primarily work at Scissors Plus. I love my job and my salon. I do all facets of hair designing my favorite is coloring, my forte~ is fine hair.

    I love the beach, boating and fishing. We have a corvette which we enjoy taking on cruises and to car shows. We even drove it to New York once and the Florida Keys twice.

    I have a 23-year-old daughter Christina who just finished college and has become a nurse, a 20-year-old daughter Trisha and a 32-year-old step son Michael, I am very proud of them all.
